Where is Shevi Waterfall?

To see Shevi Waterfall, you have to travel 130 kilometers from the ancient city of Dezful. After traveling along the route, you will reach the village of Sartang, from where you have to walk for about half an hour to reach the waterfall.

The amazing beauty of Shevi Waterfall

Now you are facing one of the most extraordinary waterfalls in the Middle East. This waterfall originates from Churvik mountain (Zagros mountain range); the water falling from the top in the form of a staircase on the rock stones forms a river at the bottom of the waterfall, which finally flows into the Dez Dam.

The view of the waterfall depends on its unique vegetation; Along the river path, ferns and mosses grow on the rocks and willow trees, ash trees, figs, oaks, and maples cover the entire path. This vegetation forms a special habitat for animals, with the emperor spotted newt of Lorestan as the cream of the crop. If you are interested in waterfall climbing and you have the necessary skills and equipment, you can climb to the source of the waterfall and visit an excellent cave that is very long according to local people.

It's time to visit the Niagara of Iran and the Middle East!!!
