Kul Kherson

Kul Kherson- Kul means valley- (Valley of Ghosts, Ghost Gorge , Eshkaft Khorsan, Khersan Valley) is a gorge where you can experience pleasure and danger simultaneously. This valley is located 24 km from Dezful city in Khuzestan province (southwest of Iran) next to Bisheh Bozan village.

Why might it be dangerous to visit Kul Kherson?

The path of the gorge is about 4 kilometers long from the beginning to the end, with many parts of it in the river. As you get closer to the end of the path, the water becomes so deep and swirly that you must know how to swim against the direction of the whirlpool. In addition, in the middle of the path, you pass through high walls that not only prevent you from seeing the sun, but also make the path so narrow that only one person can pass through it. Apart from high walls and river whirlpools, you have to watch out for pebbles falling from tree foliage and canyon walls. So having a helmet is mandatory.

With all these dangers, why is Kul Kherson worth visiting

Despite all the dangers mentioned, Khersan Valley is extremely beautiful. Cool air blowing with a gentle breeze in the heat of Khuzestan, various water ponds, the echo of the sounds of animals and birds in the valley, the wonderful vegetation of the area, etc, are other attractions of Kul Kherson.

At the end, the unique Dam of Dez is waiting for skilled and brave tourists!!!
