During the Qajar period, the National Consultative Assembly was formed in Iran for the first time. In the beginning, most of the members were chosen from the class of nobles, elders, clergymen, famous intellectuals and Qajar princes.
These people, who were all rich, built luxurious houses for themselves in their cities.One of these houses, which today is one of the most spectacular heritages of North Khorasan province, is called Jajarmi Hussainiya (belonging to Ali Akbar Jajarmi - a famous merchant) in Bojnoord. A unique and very eye-catching building that will enchant your mind and calm your soul.

Jajarmi Hussainiya from the past to now:
According to written documents, this building belongs to the famous Iranian businessman and MP, Ali Akbar Jajarmi. The same documents show that this house was built between 120 and 130 years ago by one of the famous architects of Khorasan.The famous businessman built this mansion to house himself and his family. But after that, it was dedicated by his heirs as Hussainiya (a place of mourning for Shiites during Muharram) and today it has been reopened as a center for the creation of handicrafts and traditional arts and skill-based training workshops.
It was also registered as one of Iran National Heritage List in 2013.

The architecture is completely logically based on the traditional architecture of the Qajar period and is built on two floors. This 590 square meter mansion has special features that will surprise you. Such as:
* The arched windows are all wooden and colored glass is installed on them. so when the sunlight shines, the interior becomes completely colorful.
* After passing through the entrance door, you will enter the courtyard through a vestibule. All the rooms of the house open to the yard. The courtyard is often shaded and a pond in the center and trees around the pond cool the mansion.
* It is used to go to the second floor through two stone stairs that are on both sides of the yard.
To decorate the exterior and interior of the building, plastering, muqarnas, angles, etc. have been used.
